The train was actually due to go to Theale, as opposed to Westerleigh.
The fire spread to five tanks, two of which ended up down an embankment.
As the train split in the derailment, 66004 was able to be used to recover the rear 14 tanks, whilst as mentioned 60062 was quickly recovered and moved forward to prevent any major damage.
Whilst working 6A11 Robeston-Westerleigh on the 26/27 August, part of the consist of the train caught fire, sparking a serious incident. It’s unknown whether the loco or wagons sparked the fire, or whether the loco has been involved in the fire in the case of the latter.
